She Was So Pretty: Be Good For Goodness Sake lands Hometown Screening

After spending two months on the road promoting, and screening She Was So Pretty 2 , Brooklyn Ewing, Jerry Larew Jr. and Justin Ewing are headed home to screen their brand new holiday horror sequel at Undo's in Marietta, Ohio.

Undo's on the Pike in Marietta, is hosting dinner and a movie night featuring the new, award-winning hometown-horror sequel, She Was So Pretty 2: Be Good for Goodness Sake, on December 29th, 2017.

She Was So Pretty 2 is the follow up to Parkersburg, West Virginia native Brooklyn Ewing's, She Was So Pretty, released in 2016. The sequel follows serial killer, Alfie, played by Jerry Larew Jr., as he teams up with shady cop, Detective Baldwin. played by Corey Rutter, for a series of home invasions during the Christmas season.

The original film toured across the United States, and played over 30 film festivals, drive-ins, and conventions, including genre fest, Nightmares Film Festival in Columbus, Ohio. Ewing brought home the award for Best Director at Nightmares Film Festival in 2016, and then premiered the sequel there in 2017; bringing home the award for Best Cinematography Feature.

Ewing and Larew spent a year raising funds for the sequel, and filled the movie with local scenery, and Christmas spirit. The duo have been on the road for two months traveling with the film, and promoting Dirt Candy Productions. Both of them grew up loving horror films, and never dreamed they would be able to make one, let alone, a sequel.

Reviews for the film are starting to roll in, and Lacy Lou from PopHorror.com says,

"The dynamic duo of Alfie and Baldwin are so devilishly demented together and have great on-screen chemistry. Jerry Larew Jr. hits the nail on the head as the creeptastic Alfie. His stare alone still makes me cringe in my seat."

Adam Barney of The Film Coterie says, " She Was So Pretty: Be Good for Goodness Sake is even better than the first installment. It gift wraps and delivers everything we wanted in a holiday horror sequel. It has one of the best new characters in horror in Alfie and you're gonna be mad at yourself if you didn't get in early on this franchise."

The screening at Undo's on the Pike is part of She Was So Pretty 2's screening tour throughout the U.S., and internationally. Dinner kicks off at 6pm, and will show film trailers for upcoming indie features, and short films. At 7pm you can see two, award-winning, short films, Compulsion, and Lunch Ladies, and the main film starts at 8pm. Afterward there will be a Q&A with the cast and crew. More screening dates will be announced within the next few weeks.
